The Οctagon walls had revetments of colored marble plaques and panels in the opus sectile technique.

The floor of the hall was of colored and white marble featuring simple geometric motifs created by chromatic oppositions. In its southern part, in front of the entrance to the vestibule, there were four different decorative motifs (emblemata) of colored marble. These are on exhibit in the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki. Various types of marble from quarries in Greece and Egypt were used in constructing the floor.
